Description
Description and principle of operation
This protective panel is designed to provide protection for photovoltaic installations and other electrical systems from surges that may occur as a result of thunderstorms, electric shocks and other sudden electrical impacts on power wires. In the event of such events, the voltage in the grid can reach dangerous levels that can damage the inverters and consumers connected to them.
The panel contains an AC AC arrestor group**, which, when a voltage exceeds 275 V, immediately connects the phase and neutral conductors to the ground bus. This diverts the dangerous voltage to ground and prevents damage to the inverter and other devices in the electrical system.
Technical characteristics:
– Input: 1 phase, after the main fuse, from the meter board (maximum load up to 12 kW).
– Output: 1 phase, to the switchboard with consumers (maximum load up to 12 kW).
– Input arrestor: bipolar AC arrester with an actuation voltage of 275 V.
Application:
The switchboard is designed for use in photovoltaic installations that include parallel single-phase inverters, such as the models of Growatt SPF6000ES Plus, Growatt SPF5000ES, inverters of the Deye brand and others, with a total power of up to 12 kW.
Comments:
1. It is recommended to use copper wires with a cross-section of at least 10 mm² to ensure maximum safety and efficiency in system operation.
2. In the absence of reliable grounding, **bridging** between the neutral and grounding rails is allowed, but this should be done only after careful assessment and the availability of reliable safety conditions!
Advantages:
– Prevents high voltage damage caused by weather phenomena and anomalies in the power supply.
– Suitable for inverters with a total power of up to 12 kW.
The dashboard provides reliable protection for your inverters and consumers, reducing the risk of failure.
